In  2003, the Massachusetts Mortgage Association began working with the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) on an education initiative for the benefit of members that would take advantage of the substantial resources and curriculum development work of NAMB.  This marked the beginning of our education affiliation agreement with NAMB and provided us with direction on what courses to consider offering in our state. Our state education committee and staff are responsible for overseeing the education program.

This strategic alliance with the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) was carefully designed to bring a strong educational program to members. Courses are specifically designed to help keep mortgage professionals abreast of the latest in automated underwriting and origination courses as well as to provide basic mortgage industry overviews for individuals new to the profession or new to employment with member companies.
